Water is more than a chemical compound of hydrogen and oxygen (H2O). It is a source of life for humans, animals and plants. We encounter it daily as a thirst quencher, in the shower or as rain. We need water for cooking and washing.

Water can take on very different states. It can be solid, liquid or gaseous. It is formless and adapts to any shape. It's soft but stronger than a stone. Thus it forms valleys, coasts and grottos. It shapes landscapes and life forms through lack, as in the desert or abundance, as in the rainy season.
